Business challenge
MVNO solutions are becoming increasingly popular among large businesses, often presenting significant integration challenges for service providers.
One service provider reached out to Intellias for an expert analysis of technological limitations and opportunities related to the upcoming onboarding of a major telecom operator — the company’s first project of this scale.
Technology solution
A cornerstone of our business offerings, Intellias IT consulting services have helped numerous businesses define effective digital strategies and achieve success, including in the telecom industry.
Scope of assessment
In this case, we audited key backend aspects of the new customer onboarding process and general platform improvements:
- Development of back-office functionality for the core web platform, including feature administration, service package management, statistics and reporting, and billing
- API engineering to handle connectivity between our client’s platform and the new customer’s digital ecosystem
- Implementation of a separate financial module for payment handling
- Selection of geo-specific out-of-the-box BSS/OSS components
- Implementation of an integrated AI chatbot for end-user assistance
Deliverables
The audit, completed in just under two months, provided a clear understanding of existing technical and functional gaps in the client’s platform setup, along with specific tools and methods to eliminate them.
Our team’s role
The project involved a small cross-functional team of Intellias solution architects, business analysts, and domain experts who worked closely with key stakeholders on the client’s side.
Business impact
Through a thorough audit of the existing digital product line and its functional specifications in relation to new customer integration, our client was able to outline a holistic strategy for smooth and efficient onboarding based on informed business development decisions.
