Intellias Completes Inclusivity and Accessibility Audit

Intellias continues to make its office spaces more inclusive in Ukraine and globally

Lviv, Ukraine — November 24, 2023 — Intellias, a global technology partner for top-tier organizations and Fortune 500 companies, together with the public organization “Dostupno.UA”, conducted an inclusivity audit and revised how policies are implemented into working processes. The main objective of this audit is to provide barrier-free access and a comfortable environment for all employees and visitors of the Intellias offices in Ukraine and abroad.

Intellias continues to implement Dostupno.ua recommendations to make its office spaces more inclusive. In particular, the company organized parking places for people with disabilities and expanded parking places for visitors. A pass system was re-constructed to meet the needs of people with disabilities. The office and equipment, including the closet, printing zone and bathrooms, were re-built according to Dostupno.ua recommendations. The company has also added contrasting on doors and rooms.

Whatever the market situation or internal factors are, at Intellias, we always pay attention to providing comfortable and safe working conditions. As more and more military servicemen come back from the war, the issue of meeting the standards and norms of inclusivity becomes pressing. We have successfully implemented a number of changes to make our offices accessible and we would like to thank Dostupno.ua for their recommendations for further improvement of our working spaces

As per recent audit and Dostupno.UA’s recommendations, Intellias plans to implement a series of further adjustments, both simple and complex. The former include adding more contrasting labeling, installing handrails in bathrooms, regulating mirror heights and other simple adjustments. The latter to include building a ramp and a normative driving access to the parking places for people with disabilities.

I want to feel free in Ukraine. And it makes me genuinely happy to receive requests from companies, which are sincerely interested in being inclusive employers. For me, it means aspiring towards development, respect, and equal attitude.

Dmytro Schchebetiuk, co-founder and expert at Dostupno.ua.

According to Nataliia Parkhytko, head of social entrepreneurship at Dostupno.ua, the issue of accessibility became urgent and visible in Ukraine after the full-scale russian invasion. “We would like to thank Intellias for their inquiry and for the changes that they implement. It is a sign of real involvement into changes and transparency. It has been one of the most successful partnerships since the establishment of Accessibility Bureau”, says Nataliia.

Equality, diversity, and inclusivity (EDI) are among the key Intellias main values. The company developed an EDI strategy, focusing on gender equality, responsible parenting, veterans’ support, inclusivity, and accessibility.
