Lviv, Ukraine — October 12, 2023 — Intellias, a global technology partner for top-tier organizations and Fortune 500 companies, is expanding educational opportunities for talented Ukrainian students. Intellias has opened an innovative and practical laboratory at Ivan Franko Lviv National University (LNU). At the same time, Intellias has launched joint educational programs for students with both Lviv National University and the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU).
Supporting educational initiatives and developing engineering communities are an important part of Intellias’ mission. That’s why Intellias created the innovative IntelliMapLab: an educational space with modern equipment needed for comfortable learning. Under the guidance of Intellias experts, IntelliMapLab students will create maps in the NDS (Navigation Data Standard) format for car navigation systems. The educational space offers modern equipment needed for comfortable learning.
Alongside the lab, Intellias has started a joint program with LNU for the faculty of applied mathematics and informatics called the IntelliMapLab training program. It consists of two parts:

- A training lab with two months of lectures by Intellias experts
- A product lab where students complete technical tasks and real projects, working in Agile teams under the mentorship of Intellias experts
The mobility industry is actively transforming. Modern cars have become complex IT products. We are glad to cooperate with Intellias, which has deep expertise in the mobility industry and is ready to share its experience in creating innovative solutions with our students.
We also launched another IntelliDrive educational program at the beginning of the school year. It is a joint educational initiative of Intellias and UCU, in which Intellias specialists will train third- and fourth-year students of the faculty of applied sciences in embedded programming. Participants of the IntelliDrive training program will work on their own solutions for the Intellias Portable Automotive Kit, which the company presented at the СES 2023 international exhibition in Las Vegas.
The future of the IT sphere depends on specialists who are now standing at the beginning of their careers. At Intellias, one of our objectives is to help them gain knowledge that will drive their professional growth. Intellias is among the leaders in the mobility industry; our engineers develop software that is used in more than 179 million cars worldwide. Students will have a chance to learn from our experience, build self-confidence, and continue developing in the mobility industry.
Intellias specialists regularly become mentors in joint educational initiatives with universities. The company launches educational projects every year and holds thematic webinars and hackathons. Since 2021, Intellias has been hosting the IntelliStart educational hub, where students can study programming for free. In 2022 and 2023, Intellias successfully implemented a Junior Stream program that focused on learning Java and Scala.
