On March 14, 2017, Intellias announced the successful completion of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification – an international standard for information security management. Bureau Veritas, a global leader in the certification industry, performed the external audit and declared that Intellias meets all legal, statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements for information security.
Certification process
The certification process consisted of two stages, one internal and one external. The internal preparatory stage involved establishing an on-site Information Security Management department, implementing information security best practices, and developing security documentation required by ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards.
The external certification stage entailed a comprehensive process including documentation reviews that addressed all ISO criteria as well as a three-day on-site audit. During their stay, Bureau Veritas auditors verified the real-time application of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standards in Intellias’ day-to-day life and processes.
Value for Intellias clients
For Intellias as well as for our partners, the maintenance of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification assures that business operations and corporate information are secured against any foreseeable contingency, whether it be fire, flood, a hacking attack, data loss, a system breach, or something else.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification is a monolith proof that information exchanges are protected in any form, from computer data transfers to public conversations. This certification confirms the security of physical perimeters as well as limited access to corporate facilities along with initial personnel screening.
In addition, Intellias has sent some of its own specialists to be trained at the authentic training center program. These specialists have received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Internal Auditor Certificates and will assure that Intellias maintains a robust Informational Security Management System at the highest levels. Intellias is proud to say that the sensitive information and intellectual property entrusted by its loyal clients are secure and protected from unauthorized access.
