June 2022 — Intellias, global software engineering and consulting services provider to the mobility industry, and DMI, technology solutions and digital strategy consultancy, announced a partnership to bring software-defined vehicles to life. Both companies agreed to join efforts and support global car manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers to provide solutions to the challenges of implementing software-defined mobility solutions and generating new revenue streams. Intellias and DMI will leverage their strong footprints in Europe and the U.S. as well as comprehensive in-vehicle and connected vehicle platform expertise to support customers on a global scale.
Current vehicles include more than 100 million lines of code as well as a sophisticated Electronics/Electric (E/E) architecture that is becoming more and more centralized. Vast software engineering expertise is needed to transform vehicles and realize end-to-end architectures, which combine on-board and off-board services that bring user experience to a new level.
