Guildford (United Kingdom) – November 28, 2022 – Security Watchdog, a leading international employment screening business, in partnership with Digitally Inspired, a software engineering company powered by Intellias, have been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2022 UK IT Industry Awards. Competing for the Best Security, Defence or Law Enforcement IT Project of the Year Award, they were nominated alongside major UK public sector organisations, such as the Home Office and Greater Manchester Police.
The UK IT Industry Awards are the largest and most well-known event in the UK technology industry calendar. Owned and operated by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT and Computing, the awards enjoy a level of professionalism and industry knowledge not seen at other shows.
Security Watchdog is a leading international employment screening business whose purpose is to protect clients from hiring unsuitable candidates posing a threat to their reputation, assets, and people. In partnership with Digitally Inspired, powered by Intellias, they completed a three-year digital screening project to develop a world-class, highly secure screening platform – VOLTi4 – digitally transforming the user experience and raising the screening industry bar for system excellence in security and experience.
With today’s clients and candidates demanding faster screening turnaround times and exceptional onboarding experiences to underpin employee engagement, the brief for the VOLTi4 development project was focused on speed, ease of use, and security as core principles. Three portals were developed: a client portal allowing clients to securely upload orders and candidate documentation; a candidate portal for candidates to sign in and complete online ‘background’ forms; and thirdly, a portal for Security Watchdog users to process checks supported by automation and integration with data suppliers where possible.
The success of the project delivered in partnership between Security Watchdog and Digitally Inspired is an exemplar in our industry of digital transformation creating great outcomes. The project journey faced challenges along the way but as one project team, we never lost control of the direction and delivery to the benefit of our business, clients and their candidates.
