Intellias, a global technology partner to Fortune 500 enterprises and top-tier organizations, has sponsored a project to translate the Seventh Edition of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (the PMBOK Guide) into Ukrainian.
The PMBOK Guide is a universal collection of project management knowledge that is applicable to any industry. It provides a foundation that helps project managers standardize practices across departments, tailor processes to suit specific needs, and prevent project failures.
The guide is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. With Intellias help, the Ukrainian version will be available in February 2022.
Once translated into Ukrainian, the PMBOK Guide will become accessible to a broader audience in Ukraine, making a significant contribution to the country’s professional development of project management specialists. By sponsoring the translation, Intellias expresses its commitment to growing local IT talents.
The PMBOK Seventh Edition has significant differences from previous versions. It focuses not on processes but principles. This radically changed the structure of the standard and its concept in general. Thanks to this translation, we expect an overall improvement in project management practices in Ukraine within the next three to four years.
