Málaga, Spain – December 2, 2022 – Intellias, a global technology enabler for Fortune 500 enterprises and top-tier organizations, is entering the Spanish market and has opened its first office in the Monday co-working space in Málaga on Friday, December 2. The event has been honored by the presence of Francisco de la Torre, Mayor of Málaga; Lourdes Cruz, Business Development and Investment Promotion Director of the Technopark of Málaga; Rafael Ventura, Vice Rector of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University of Málaga; as well Svitlana Kramarenko, the Consul of Ukraine in Málaga.

We are delighted to welcome Intellias, an international company that has chosen Málaga for its first office in Spain. Intellias is a global leader in IT solutions for the automotive, transportation, financial services, telecommunications, agriculture, retail, and eCommerce sectors. So, it will undoubtedly contribute to the innovative ecosystem of Málaga by creating new jobs, sharing its professional experience, and growing in our city. We are also proud that Malaga continues to support Ukrainian companies actively and welcome its people as a good example of our hospitable and inclusive nature. We wish them a lot of success.

During the event, the CEO and co-founder of Intellias, Vitaly Sedler, took the opportunity to share that the decision to enter the Spanish market is a part of Intellias’ globalization business strategy.

Málaga has a well-developed IT market and world-renowned quality of life. We consider it one of the most vibrant and rapidly developing digital scenes in Europe, able to attract tech experts and relevant tech companies worldwide. By cooperating closely with Spanish IT experts, educational centers, and IT hubs, we plan to build a top-tier team of engineers who will join our efforts in digitalizing the world.

The company also revealed its plans to gather a strong team of local IT experts by hiring 150 specialists by 2024 and relocating experts from abroad. Local engineers will have the opportunity to develop solutions for world-leading companies from the Fortune 500 list and leading technology innovators. In particular, Financial Services is one of the company’s strategic fields of activity that will keenly develop in the Spanish offices.

We know that the world post-pandemic has changed for greater flexibility and work-life balance. That’s why Intellias has chosen this strategic cooperation with Monday co-working places which, besides having its own dedicated space in Málaga, offers the company great work environments in Madrid and Barcelona. Such great coverage will support our growth in 2023 and 2024.

In its new Málaga office, Intellias will have an airy open space, meeting rooms, and comfortable lounge areas. Intellias employees will also have access to Monday’s common spaces, kitchen, gym, and changing room. When choosing this place, the company followed its principles of smart comfort. Intellias has an entire system designed to make employees feel physically and emotionally comfortable. Talents can work remotely or at their favorite desk in the office; it’s their choice.

The company expects to achieve its plans by attracting talents with a diverse human-to-human culture, in which people are always more important than processes. Specialists will be able to manage their working time, professional growth, and overall career trajectory. They will have opportunities to learn, update their skills, become mentors, and speak at international events. Vacancies in Spain are already open, namely for Scala, Java, DevOps, and AQA engineers.

Beyond its hiring plans, Intellias expects to cooperate closely with Málaga IT associations, communities, and universities. The company plans to develop its technology expertise in Spain, reinforcing the country’s ability to digitalize the world.
