Intellias and Veteran Hub to Help Veterans Adapt to Civilian Life

Intellias and Veteran Hub are launching educational programs and other initiatives to support specialists with military experience

Kyiv, Ukraine – Jun 15, 2023 — Intellias, a global technology enabler for top-tier organizations and digital natives, and the Veteran Hub charitable foundation are partnering to help combatants adapt to civilian life. The main goal of this cooperation is to adjust the hiring process at Intellias and create a veteran-friendly environment with numerous professional opportunities.

Veteran Hub experts will share up-to-date research and practices on how to involve specialists with military experience in work processes. Intellias recruiters, HR specialists, managers, and С-level executives will participate in thematic webinars, educational projects, and events. One upcoming activity is a practical course titled “There Is a Job for a Veteran.”

To ensure an effective partnership and experience exchange, Intellias and Veteran Hub have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation as part of the HR Praktyka project. This project was created based on studies of the needs and obstacles that veterans face when looking for work, utilizing more than three years of experience of Veteran Hub specialists in supporting veterans.

Returning to civilian life is a complex and challenging process, and we have to make it more comfortable for military veterans. Employment is one of the main factors that influences one’s well-being and gives a chance for self-actualization. Therefore, it is crucial to build this bridge between civilian employers and ex-combatants.

Artem Denisov, Head of Veteran Hub

Supporting military veterans is one of the key focus areas for Intellias. The company has analyzed veterans’ needs and developed a program to introduce employment practices for candidates with combat experience.

At Intellias, we strive to always build people-centric workplaces. The company is already working on creating an environment where our defenders can grow professionally. Specialists with combat experience should feel how appreciated they are in this new society that has been formed during the full-scale invasion in Ukraine. Supporting veterans at all stages of adaptation and creating decent conditions for their self-actualization is one of the priorities for Intellias.

Roman Hapachylo, VP, Talent Management at Intellias

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Intellias has been working ceaselessly to support Ukraine and its defenders. In 2021, the company launched the IntelliShare internal crowdfunding platform where specialists can initiate and take part in important charity projects. Since then, donations on this platform have surpassed UAH 55 million (around USD 1.5 million).
